Communicraft designed, developed and implemented a new website for Carhire.ie and 353CarRental.ie which would automate the once manual booking process via the company’s online presence.

The system integrates fully in real time with the back office system already in use by the organisation (the ERA vehicle rental system by fourthtier.com), bringing together the online and offline bookings of the organisation in a single, streamlined, automated booking process.

Communicraft worked with Carhire’s team to analyse the offline booking process and devise processes for an online system that

could leverage the company’s existing IT infrastructural investments while reducing the administration overheads of the manual booking process where feasible and appropriate.

The site and web application were built with a clean separation of User Interface, Application and Data layers allowing for efficient application updates and system scalability.

Communicraft worked in close partnership with the Search Engine Optimisation consultants to ensure that the site continued to excel in terms of rankings with the major search engines.
